The ENERGY STAR® label and NFRC was created as a joint effort by the US Department of Energy and the US Environmental Protection Agency. The ENERGY STAR® and NFRC Window Program is designed to help consumers identify energy efficient windows and doors.
  
• ENERGY STAR^® labeled windows and doors, like Roeland windows, are 40% more efficient than products required under the most common national building codes.
• New Jersey (NJ) is in the North Zone and requires all windows to have a “U” rating of .22 by Jan, 1st 2010
• Roeland Home Improvers installs Double Hung windows that have a U.18 rating (as shown in label on right, “vertical slider” is the universal name for double hung windows)
